If you’re reading these reviews, you’re probably like me. Agonizing over which sit-stand desk is going to be best for you. I can tell you that all the positive things you read about Ergosphere and their customer service are accurate. Though the price of the Balanced desk 390 is quite steep if you compare it to other options available over the internet, trust me, you don’t want to compromise for a solution they’re selling. I would say the extra cost is well worth the peace of mind you get with Ergosphere, and you can visit their experience store and try out the difference and feel in quality.Not to mention the desk looks and performs amazingly! It’s as rock solid as you could get with a 2 leg sit-stand, and there is no issue with the desk moving at standing height. I often lean my full weight on the front desk while standing and have no trouble rocking. All-in-all I’m thrilled with my new desk!
Yeah, it deserves an all-caps title. This desk is really well constructed. Hardware moves incredibly smoothly. I have been using a standing desk for 20 years and was looking for a new mechanism for my custom-configured desk that has seen better days. I have built many desks over the years and tried more than a few more expensive brands like Haworth, Steelcase, and Herman Miller, with their desks costing 2- 5 times the Balanced Desk.Frankly, I am rarely so satisfied that I take the time to write a review. But I feel obligated to show my thanks for the exceptional experience I have had with this product in the hope that if anyone who is like me reads it, they will stop their search and purchase this product. I am ordering a second base to set up a sit-stand worktable in another room, and I am also considering converting my daughter’s current custom desk.Thanks for creating a great product and having such quick shipping and easy-to-install instructions and components. I could not be happier.
My desk has a heavy top, so I appreciate the heavy load this can handle. Because it is built stronger, it’s very stable as well. I love it!
